SVP CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE

Charity is the cement which binds Communities to God and persons to one another' (St Vincent de Paul).

The St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) is a Christ centred organisation made up of almost 10,000 volunteers across England & Wales. Whilst every Conference is unique, our mission is the same; to seek and find those in need, to help them in the spirit of justice and to tackle the causes of poverty where we can. The focus of our parish work is visiting and befriending people living in isolation and or poverty.

Once more in the run up to Christmas we have our 'Christmas Giving Tree'. You are invited to take a gift tag from the tree in their narthex and return the tag with an appropriate wrapped gift attached. Please note there is a huge range of ages!

Gifts will be delivered to those less fortunate in the parish of St Vincent's

The SVP would like to thank all those who have helped in the past to make this initiative such a success, including those who gave freely of their time in promoting the initiative, collecting gifts or sorting and wrapping presents. A final word of thanks goes to all those parishioners who donated funds or gifts for their continuing generosity

 THANK YOU!
