SVP CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE

Charity is the cement which binds Communities to God and persons to one another' (St Vincent de Paul).

The St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) is a Christ centred organisation made up of almost 10,000 volunteers across England & Wales. Whilst every Conference is unique, our mission is the same; to seek and find those in need, to help them in the spirit of justice and to tackle the causes of poverty where we can. The focus of our parish work is visiting and befriending people living in isolation and or poverty.

Please collect a gift tag or tags from the Christmas Tree in the narthex. Return the tag with a gift attached. Please make sure that the gift is appropriate for the person described on the tag.

Please return no later that Sunday 15th December. There's a box next to the tree to receive the gifts.

The gifts will be distributed in time for Christmas to those less fortunate than ourselves in the Parish of St Vincent's, Nechells.

The SVP would like to thank all those who have helped in the past to make this initiative such a success, including those who gave freely of their time in promoting the initiative, collecting gifts or sorting and wrapping presents. A final word of thanks goes to all those parishioners who donated funds or gifts for their continuing generosity

 THANK YOU!
